Acuarela’s original alphabet cards, created in collaboration with award-winning illustrator Luis San Vicente, draw upon research in Spanish and English to supercharge bilingual alphabet learning.
Each Kindergarten set contains 54 cards:
Complete alphabet (including ñ, of course, and separate letter cards for letters that don’t share a sound across languages)
Basic digraphs ch, ll, sh, th, wh
Instructional guidance on the back of each card, including Crosslinguistic Teaching Notes, to support teachers in fostering, and accelerating, biliteracy
